LEFT and BELOW. Photos of the Poncirus trifoliata in Kew Gardens, London. Taken with flowers still just closed, 27th April 2001. The left picture shows about half the total height of approximately 4metres. |
A low-growing specimen noticed in Richmond's 'Terrace Garden' in early March 2005.
These are the gardens cascading down from Richmond Hill to Petersham Road and
the River Thames. About 1m tall and wide, the plant looked old and sturdy enough
to be flowering and fruiting so I have included it here. I'll try and check
later on in the year - or perhaps someone else can report it's progress? |
